Question
Hi,

I am 24 yr old Indian from India, I want to know how can I get into car rallies and how can I become an navigator.

Maybe if you have taken part in any Indian competetions , you might be able to help me out.

trouble is I dont know where or whom to approch, usally I find out about rallies after they are over

Hello Vinod:

I don't follow rallying at all, but there must be, in India, a club that sponsors auto racing events.  You may have to do some internet research to find them, but I'm sure there is one.  

Then you would contact them and ask about rallying. If they don't sponsor it, perhaps they would know which organization does, and how to get in touch with them.

I wish I could offer more help, but I really don't know where to send you

Experience

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
