Question
Hi Dan,
I have a 4100 lb 69 Pontiac grand prix 555 motor 886 hp on the crank car is back halved . I am looking for help on trying to get the best ladder bar setup. Right now the ladder bars are parallel with the road and I have a 3 degree pinion angle set.  The best 60 footers that I can get is 1.49.  The car runs 9.80 @ 139mph  but blows the tires off, any help would be great.

Answer
Hi Steve- - -

Boy you got me- -  The last drag race I ran, I won because I watched carefully , the muscles in the flagman's forearm !   About 1963 I think.

BEst advice I can give you is to talk to the tech guys at Summit Racing. They seem to really know their stuff with drag cars.  Try <www.summitracing.com>

Good luck
