Question
Hey Dan, i own a 96' GMC k1500 and i am trying to decide whether to buy a new crate motor all together or bore out my existing 350. My main goal in this project is to turn my truck into a carbed hot rod and get rid of the fuel injection portion of it. Any answers would be a help. (oh yeah what kind of heads should i buy)

Answer
Hi Cass:

I usually don't take questions about street rods, but in this case, the answer is simple.  Get a crate motor from Summit Racing, take their advice about heads carbs and so forth.  For stuff like that there is no better advice on the planet.  Find them at <www.summitracing.com> and call thier tech line.

Good luck
