Auto Racing/Racing pistons

Question
My husband and I are cleaning out this garage.  We came across 8 new pistons. This is what it says on the box. TRW Thmpson produced  Power Forged Racing Pistons.  The part number is L2210AF STD. Bore size is 4000 plus over size. Rod size is .0005 to .0007. The compression Ratio is 12.5:1.
My question is, is this something that would be used still and is there any worth to them.  There are 8 of them.  They have a slight discolorization for just sitting around.

Answer
I sent one answer , maybe it got lost.
What you have are probably older forged pistons for a Chevrolet 350 - - -but they could be for a Ford 351 too. As far as their value goes, I'd say put them on e-bay with a reserve of $50 or so. Somebody will buy them

Best advice I have

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
