Answer
First answer - - -re the K&N intake system.  The purpose of the K&N is to reduce intake restriction which will reduce your vacuum reading. no way around that. Plus when you change to a high performance cam you might also lose vacuum. nature of the beast.

Parts are where you find them, junk yards are where you should be EVERY Saturday until you have enough.  In my case I have been racing 510s long enough that when a car comes available or parts. many times, people call me. Watch E-Bay too, and there are other used parts sites for Nissan stuff.  Also a lot of it can be used from other similar models.  I use a few truck parts here n' there.

Your four link is probably OK as it is for now. 2" springs, never heard of such a thing.  Most racers use 2 1/2 " coil overs on the front, in your case I'd use 275 Lb. or maybe a   300 LF and a 275 RF.  Look on the web for Performance  Bodies, Summit Racing and Jeg's .  There  are others but those are sources that wull get you started.

There is a thing called a wheel weight checker that you will have to look for, they cost about $150 and give you an approximate weight for each wheel.  It's better than guessing and doesn't cost $1200.00

Good luck in your quest for excellence

Experience

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
