Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 12/6/2007

I have a 1995 Tahoe purchased used in 1997 with a Micro Lock device. I never received a manual for how to deactivate it. I recall the sales rep, showing me it was a combination of having the key in a certain position and moving the directional / hi beam wand a certain number of times. He was supposed to send the manual but never did. To start the truck you insert the key and turn to the "on position", wait 3-4 seconds and then start. In cold weather the chirp never sounds but if you wait 3-4 seconds it still starts. Sometimes it will chirp 10 minutes later. Last night the chirp thing went crazy and wouldn't shut off. I'd like to be able to turn it off/ on but supposedly it is also tied to a fuel shut off thing and I don't want to mess with that! Any idea on how to correct it? I'm told Micro Lock is no longer around. The dealer couldn't help. Couldn't find ML on the web.
