Question
3 times my wife has been stranded when the pilot would only click when she tried to start it. it appeared as if the battery was dead. when someone jumped her off the car started. could her key fob be the problem????????????

Answer
Ok then, short of checking the
obvious like a malfunctioning battery and
recharging system, from your desription and the
make/model/year of the car you have there,
it appears you've reset the smart key immobilizer.

The car's security immobilizer
reader at the key switch
does not recognize the coded
chip in the ignition key.

I suggest getting this to the Honda dealer ASAP
for evealuation, reset & or repair before you
are caught in a really bad position.

Good luck.
