Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 1/14/2008

Question
Hello, I have an Honda Accord 2006 EXV6, The problem is with the factory alarm, the Horn is working very well, the activation indicador Light is good, I can lock and unlock the car with the remote control.

I make a test inside the car, I activated the alarm and then I open any of the doors and the alarm does not work.

Can somebody let me know what the problem is, if I open the door with the alarm activated is supposed to make an alert.

I’m worried because I saw, the driver security lock/unlock device on the door broken, I thought that someone was trying to get access to my car.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.
