Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 10/7/2008

Question
My son went to the store this morning, and set his alarm.  It's one that the dealers install. nothing fancy, it doesn't open doors or anything like that, just arms & disarms.  When he came out, he tried to disarm the alarm, and it wouldn't work.  He used his key to open the door which of course, set the alarm off (horn honks), he still could not disarm.  He popped hood and disconnected battery, re connected, got back in and the truck will not turn over.  Arm/Disarm doesn't work at all.  Hubby tried to reset, however, it wouldn't work, he totally disconnected alarm system, still nothing.  Ended up having truck towed to dealer.  Any clue on this one?  Dealer said that the truck should have started after he disconnected the alarm.

That's hard to say what the problem could
be without first hand inspection. If you
would, restate this question in my installers
