Question
I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a passtime device on my car which also works as an anti-theft device,. that the financier installed. all payments are made ,yet a problem is occuring with start up. the car's head lights come on, but I thought it seemed to be a battery problem.i was given a jump start , but the car still would not start nor would the device kick in as it normally does. How do i know if it is the device malfunctioning, is this possible? or is that any possible other problems could cause a dead car? i wanted to be certain before they call me back and tell me other things that may or may not be honest... as they are liable for this device.

Well, here's what I know.
There is a relay that shuts off the
STARTER wire only in the PASSTIME. It may have re engaged when
the power died. That you will need to have
looked at at a good mechanic. Have him evaluate
the charging system entirely. If a battery or, charging
system is bad, the PASSTIME would reset when power
returns and lock you down. Extract the system, or
contact the dealer for monthly codes or a termination
code so you can go on your way.
