Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 10/13/2008

I took my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES in the shop for starter replacement. The starter has been replaced along with the positive terminal of the battery with a universal lead terminal but not the original copper ones. After a few days, a loud siren-like sound woke me up at 4am.  The sound does not sound like my alarm(factory alarm) but a continues loud sound.  Tried to turn off the sound by my remote but to no avail.  Try to start the car and it works, so the best thing to do is open the hood and disconnect the battery.  The next morning, I put back the battery terminal and everything went fine except the next loud siren happen again about the same time in the morning.  Did the same thing and at noon I brought it back to the shop and told them what happened and they were puzzled.  So, they kept the car overnight for observation. I would find out pretty soon.  Any similar occurences that you encounter?

be without first hand inspection. If you
