is the:

Doorlock & Alarm Interface
Firmware: JDL 1.00
XK03 is a programmable multi-function door lock & alarm control interface preloaded with upgradeable firmware (CHDL7) for all late model Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models. Primary interface control functions include: door locks, driver & passenger Sliding door open/close, factory alarm, trunk/hatch release and door pin status output(-) for aftermarket alarm trigger.

So, whatever your selection is for your remote starter/keyless system
would be, the afore mentioned module is key to a proper and seamless installation.
