Question
I can put my key in the ignition but it will not turn because of content theft deterrent, how do I over ride this
Sorry, but not allot you can do.
The PASSLOCK II system is triggered. &
GM will need to reset it now.
You can try key in ignition, turn to the on position
for 10 minutes and then the system MIGHT relearn
and allow the long tamper mode to reset.
But you can't turn the tumbler. This means
GM must do a code reset.
Call GM service and explain.
They will need you to tow it in for a code writer
to be applied and the PASSLOCK system to be reset.
Those are the options
unfortunately.
