Question
I bought a 2002 ford F150 that has a carbine plus 1500 remote starter installed. When you press the start button the engine will crank but does not start. The unit has a red wire wrapped around a key in the dash and an extra relay under the dash also not sure why. What do I need to do to get truck to start?

Answer
Those keys were used to bypass the immobiizer so it COULD be remote starter. And it was badly done.

Take it to a local technician and have them redo that or buy the correct bypass module (IM04 PKFORD KIT) at www.BYPASSMODULES.com
and do it right.

Good luck.
