I’m having the same problem the person wrote about on 7/2/2006, where his ford would not start.
Mine is a 2002 Ford Explore. I drove it to work (about 5 min away). After about 2 hours I went to leave and it would not start.
You said that you where going to ask your Ford contact, but I did not see an answer to the problem. Could you please tell me if he had any good news?
Ok, if it's the Ford Secure Lock/PATS system in
the vehicle shutting down the fuel rail,
you will need to see Ford for a reset.
Nothing about that changes. :>(
If it's after market, review past posts about valet/override
for the solution to most. Most after market units
have the same protocol to disarm/disable.
Might get lucky that way.
