Auto Theft Prevention/99 Blazer won't start in the morning

Question
I have a 99 Chevy Blazer with remote start. When I go to start it in the morning, it won't start. I remove the breather, spray a little starting fluid, replace the breather, and it starts right up. I have no problems starting it the rest of the day.  According to previous owner, the fuel pump was replaced. After looking on your website, I saw the problem with the passkey problem. Any ideas?

Answer
It may be the PASSLOCK II. hard to say without first hand
inspection. It also might be that the system was installed
as a "smart sensing" set up, and you need to have a
tach sensing set up to insure it starts everytime.

I think you should run it into a local install shop
to have it evaluated to see what options you have
that can correct it.

Passlock would keep it from starting at all, so explore
the other ideas first.

Good luck.
