Question
we recently bought a wrecked 2007 Ford Fusion (with air bags deployed) to fix and resell.
We we not given the OEM key but a knock off made at the hardware store or somewhere similar.
Problem is : The Anti-Theft System Icon is flashing on the dash and we cannot get the motor to turn over at all.
I have read many posts on the internet but I am not encouraged about what I am reading.
Question is : Can we manually disable this Anti-Theft feature to start the car and proceed with our work ?

Thanks in advance for your time and effort

Answer
Ok it appears the PATS has reset.

The car's security immobilizer
reader at the key switch
does not recognise the coded
chip in the ignition key any longer.

You can simply tow it into any FORD vehicle dealer
to have the service department re code it.

There is a permanent solution though.
Adding the XK04 Self learning Bypass module (69.95)
will bypass the PATS system in your vehicle
for good. See this at www.BYPASSMODULES.com

This will solve the trouble until you remove
it from the car.

I have them in stock.
