Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 3/5/2008

Question
Have 2 factory keys, had a third key (all say PK3) and gave to remote starter installers. Starter worked for 6 months, but now when you press start, car says anti-theft enabled and wont start. The lock & unlock buttons on the remote start fob work. Once the car has been tried to start using remote starter FOB, the key on the ring with the remote start fob when used will also produce the same message, then that key needs to be reprogrammed (using other factory key) before it will work agin. Intersting though that when you do start the car and have it running, and you press start on the remote starter, and then take the key out of the ignition, the car will keep running. Car is 2004 grand prix gt. remote start fob says "command start" on it and has 4 buttons on it. any ideas...

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
