Auto Theft Prevention/battery dead & remote starter doesn't work

Question
Hi.
My car (2003 Oldsmobile Alero, 4drs) battery died and I jumped it up.
However, since that time, the remote starter/keyless entry doesn't work. (It's after-market one.)

Even though the receiver on the wind shield works blinking with blue light, yeah, it doesn't work.
What's going on?

Please help me.

Answer
The bypass module that was installed is likely to be
the problem. When you powered down, it lost it's programing.

Take it into a local after market car alarm shop, and
have that inspected and reset.

Not uncommon. Good luck.
