Question
I am considering a project. I want to install a 1996 to 1998 mustang cobra dohc drive train in my 1939 coupe. I understand that the anti-theft system will be a potential problem. I plan on purchasing a complete car for the project. Is there any way of reprogramming the computer to eliminate the areas that I will not need i.e. A/C, anti-theft, EGR, etc. THANKS

Answer
You will need to bypass the PATS system using
the FORTIN / KEY OVERRIDE-SL2 bypass module
(see at www.BYPASSMODULES.com),
to render the Ford's factory security system inert,
and then allow for all of the work you have planned
to go smoothly. Works very well for this
kind of thing.

Install this & then you can move forward without
any trouble.

Enjoy the project!!
