Question
I was wondering if there was a way to disengage the automatic thirty second timer for the anti theft system? The system automaticly turns on and locks the doors thirty seconds after you shut the ignition off. This is a pain if you leave your keys in the car!

Answer
This is an after market alarm and as such, will
need the manufacturers manual for the setting procedure
to toggle into and out of PASSIVE/ACTIVE arming.
You want ACTIVE.

There is no set way to do this for every alarm, so start
by identifying yours, and go from there.

Using the remote FCC Id # go to a site that
sells replacement remotes and contact the manufacturer
for info concerning the setting changes.

Good hunting.
