Question
I tripped the immobilizer, had the car towed to a garage.
The mechanic got the car started, and told me if it happens again to " put the key in ignition and turn it to on and don't touch anything for 10 minutes " and this will reset the immobilizer... is this true?

Answer
It will happen maybe 3 times that way total, then no more.
After that, you will frozen it out and it will need to
go to GM for resetting/reprogramming.

Best thing here is to render the PASSLOCK II system
inert completely. Grounded out until you unground it.

This will require a bypass module designed to do that.
See the IM-IB-PLJX bypass module at www.PASSLOCK2.com
abnd get it to your mechanic for interfacing.

Once done, no more passlock issues but you should
then gaet a decent alarm to pick up the duty it was
doing.

Have a great holiday!
