Question
I am also having problems with me security.  After the ten minute wait it works just fine but what an inconvenience.  My question is instead of having my ignition fixed or replaced is there a way to bypass the security/passlock. I dont care about the theft security I just want to be able to drive my car when Im ready to go?

The Bypass module needed is the
IM-IB-PLJX - GM Self Learning (ALL TYPES) Passlock Override
IM-IB-PLJX is an auto learning over ride module designed to
bypass all GM vehicles equipped with Passlock I ,
Passlock II, VATS. Designed for remote starting.
and in this case, if looking to bypass this car's PASSLOCK system
completely, you will need the IB-PLJX module and instead
of using a remote starter (-) output to trigger it, you
will use this input and go to the body of the car.

Once grounded out, PASSLOCK can not re engage
until you remove the ground. This will do the job required.
