Question
I'm not sure if the alarm on my car is factory or aftermarket.  It has 2 lights, 1 theft light in the gauges and another led to the left of the steering wheel.  It has ignition kill which when you unlock it with the fob, you have a minute or so to start it or you have to unlock the car again.
The problem I'm having is that sometimes when I unlock the door, the alarm stays armed and goes off. When I hit unlock again a couple of times, it will go off.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
MM

Answer
It is after market, but does not seem to be installed
correctly. I suggest you take it to a reputable installer
for evaluation and repair, wire re assignment.

Specifically, the issue about the door trigger allowing
it to reset, Also have him look at repositioning the antenna
and checking your remote for transmitter reception.

Good luck.
