Hi.  Let me just first say thank you very much for your info about disabling the alarm in a 2002 Toyota Corolla.  It has been a life saver since the alarm goes crazy in the summer heat.  My problem now is that that when I had my car inspected this week the guys there broke the little disable button on the dash when they were doing a test and now I can't disable my alarm anymore.  The little button is gone.  I went to Toyota and they can't fix it because it's a Check Mate alarm and they don't have parts for it.  What can I do?  I don't want a new alarm or to remove this alarm.  Can any car alarm place fix it?  If so I can't find one in my area(NJ) in a safe neighborhood.  Please help!!  In the very hot summer heat the alarm goes off like crazy and the keyless entry doesn't work...I have to hose down my car until it cools off in order to get into my car, which doesn't help me when I'm not home.  If I go out and park my car in the sun for like 20 mins then I get stuck there because I can't carry a hose around with me....Thanks

Yes most any car alarm shop can replace the
valet/overide switch for a very few dollars.

Have a look at www.installhelp.com to see if
there is someone close for you there, but
really, any circuit city or best buys can supply you with
and install the switch.
