I have a 2002 chevy caviler. I want to demo deby this car i lost the keys to this car. im wanting to know how to get around the anti theft system. If you could please contact me. The derby is on aug.24th.

I feel your pain. Really I do!
I get this inquiry at least 10 times a day,
and of course I am ONLY THE MESSENGER here
so please blame the engineers at GM.

I wish there was an easy way to magically get it to
work without it, but this is what we have available
short of paying GM a bunch of cash to reprogram new keys
& reset.

Problem is, you lost the keys.
Problematic with passlock.
You'd will need a working system with
programmed keys or, not going to be able to
do a bypass.

See the trick here now is to have the engine start and
run long enough to program the module. If the engine
can't start, then a bypass module will not function.

I know it's a catch 22 situation, but I am just
reporting the news here, don't shoot the messenger.
Right now it's "Cart before the horse." I am afarid.
