Question
Hello, my Dad has an 96 ford minivan and they purchased it and after purchase they took it to Ford and had them install a
Factory alarm.
My dad was having problems with the valet switch so he wired it together so that it did not have to be used anymore but now that's caused all sorts of problems.
At this point he would like to disable and remove the whole system and i am wanting to help him but i was wondering if you could guide me threw the process or removing it from there vehicle.
I read the last response about grounding but any other help would be appreciated.

Answer
2 things here. They probably put in an after market
system, not factory. That would have come direct from Ford when first purchased. So you are dealing with an after market system.
(The valet button gave it away too. There is no valet in a FACTORY system.)

The second is try these 2 sites:
www.mrinstall.com  and www.wirewerx.com for
tips, methods and wiring info to do the removal safely.

Both should help quite alot.

Good luck.
