Question
QUESTION: I left my girlfriend in NY with the keys to my car and permission to drive it.  She apparently left the key in the ignition, parked in the driveway for a period of time.  She then could not start the car as if the battery was dead.  She had some one come and help her jump start the car but the radio now says "Code".  What does this mean?  If she drives the car is it going to shut down? Where do I find my code? Is it in the owners manual?
Can you give me a brief on the anti theft system for this 2002 S2000? I am under the impression that she can start the car with the key now but the radio is asking for a code.
Thanks, Joe Wagoner

ANSWER: You were right to post this in the forum. I am sure someone with chime in later to assist.

QUESTION: How do I find the forum to check responses?

ANSWER: Hmmm, interesting.
Give a bad rating, then expect more assistance?
Wow. Interesting concept.
Hmmm, Ok then, when you post something on my
forum (which I own and operate to assist those
who need it for free by the way)
the responce would go to the included email you post
as well as to my own.

I will not flag your inquiry, all though I can
easilly, because I feel no ill will
towards you, but you might consider lightening
up when asking a "VOLENTEER" to help you out.

Not nice to slap the hand that tries to help.

QUESTION: The answer to the question for the experts:  When the power is interupted to the radio, it will need a 5 digit code to re-initialize the audio system. This code came with the car at purchase, or can be obtained from a dealer with the serial # of audio system and proof of ownership.
 Maybe I am an expert?

Answer
Thanks. You ought to sign up since you answered
your own question. Good goin.

My exprtise is not audio, or Honda OEM security. It's
in the interfacing of after market equipment to any given
vehicle. I have not done any Audio in over 25 years.

That's why I directed you to my forum for assistance from an
audio guy, or someone who does deal with this issue
on a daily basis to provide a decent answer to your
inquiry. Was not dodging the question. I personally
did not have the answer you required.

Any way,

Good luck with it.

A.
