Question
Where is the theft system passlock located, and can it be disassembled?
Passlock is made up of pieces and parts that all
work together. There is no simple disabling
of the system.
Depending on the vehicle, there is a module that
can defeat it and leave it inert as long
as you can start the car to program the module
however. But only if it can be started now.
If not, you would need to tow it to the nearest GM
service department.
