QUESTION: my alarm is set in a mood that won't let me start my car. can u help me disengage my alarm

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: it flashes a theft light i turn the key and the car makes a cllicking sound and the lights on the dashboard flicker my remote won't work my entire system doesn't work. I can't even lock or unlock the door from the driver door.

Not good.

Troublesome system, and not an uncommon issue
by a long shot.

Ok, unfortunately, this vehicle has the
FORD PATS key based engine disabling system,
and it is currently engaged. The only way to
"reset" the system is at Ford.
Contact the service dept. ASAP.

Sorry, not alot you can do without
Ford's assistance.
