Question
this is a follow up on the 2005 taurus that dosen't make a noise. it has a factory PATS system and the theft light on the panel flashes until you turn the key over to start then it don't light up. as far as the horn it quit working with the radio right before i got home. i haven't seen the lights flash any. it had a remote start on it but has been taken off since this problem
Then from my experience, the PATS system has lost it's
base programming and Ford needs to reset it and reprogram
the keys to it.
Sorry, not alot you can do on your own here.
Once reset, you can add a bypass so it never happens
again. Let me know if that is something you'd like
to do.
