Auto Theft Prevention/Camry Alarm

Question
Hello! I have a 2003 Toyota Camry xle and have been experiencing the factory car alarm going off periodically for no reason for the past few months. Ive taken to dealer twice, and they have found nothing. Since i live in an apt complex the alarm going off at 4am in the morning has become a real problem.  Any suggestions? At this point, I'm fine if I could just deactivate the thing or get it to a point that it doesnt arm itself. The dealer said my next step would be a cpu replacement. Doesnt sound cheap. I saw one suggestion to lock and unlock the car with the key versus the remote because then the alarm wouldnt arm. I have not tried this yet, but it may beat parking 200 yards away at a local community center each night so not to annoy my neighbors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Michael
