Question i had the alternator checked which is fine and the battery
was changed on friday, the problem still exist.
Answer Well ok then, all things being equal, a "factory" alarm
would not drain a battery. If you have a malfunctioning
after market alarm, with starter kill and power
door locks, these relays could go bad and cause
a drain, yes. A different animal all together!
With info you imparted, I was going on was
the idea it was factory.
If at all possible, take it to your local car alarm
installer and have it inspected for a bad relay.
a bad relay can drain up to 30 amps an hour
and will definately cause a problem within 24 hours
if left un checked.
