Question
i have a 98 toy tercel base model.
i got the black widow remote starter kit installed.
my car starts for about 20 sec then turns off for 30 sec then restarts???
is this an installation error or programing?
Check to make certain the tach wire is set up correctly.
Sounds as if it is recognizeing the RPM rate.
Since it does not "see" the RPM rate, it is
trying again and agina (3 times likely) then resets.
Look in your install manual for info on this,
and in the notes you have on the vehicle.
Make the corrections and it should work.
