Question
Would like to have an after market remote starter professionally installed on 2008 Accord for my wife's car. New OEM remote starter too expensive. Some have recommended Viper brand. Have been told after market starters for 2008 Accord affects security system and other keyless features. Would like your recommendation regarding this. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.

Answer
Well Herb, not a big fan of the way DEI does business.
The equipment is fine, no troubles there.
I's the dealer network system they use that bothers me.
If you ever have an issue, you MUST go to a dealer
of they'res, or no help will be forth coming.
Not good for the end user, but you should shop
for exactly what suits your needs locally if
you are looking for a pro to do it.

I am sure that the local Pro would want to sell and install
his own stuff, and that's fine, just shop it for your
best deal and for the best equipment.

Good luck with your choices.
