Auto Theft Prevention/remote starter not working in the cold

Question
I installed an IC Dynamics remote starter in a 2001 Town and Country a year ago and it has worked fine until this winter.  The remote starter will not start the vehicle in the cold, it will turn over but not start.  after I have it warm up in the shop for a while it will work fine.

Answer
Start by inspecting the connection for the immobilizer bypass kit
you installed. If it was the "key in the box" type, then
it's possible that it needs to be re positioned.

Cold weather plays games with electronics in vehicles
at times. Connectors spread and contract. All manner
of gremlins. I would inspect all connection
points for the remote starter actually.

Stay in touch and let me know
if you find something out.
