Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 12/22/2009

Question
I have a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 LT. it has a FACTORY INSTALLED alarm system on it that has been malfunctioning. I have tried putting the key in and turning it left than right but it does nothing. the alarm goes on at random all the time. even when driving. I noticed you answer to another question touching base on how to disarm the alarm but i was wondering if possibly you could go into more details for me on how to permanently disarm the factory alarm. thank you very much. i appreciate your help.
