Question
I have a 1995 BMW 325i convertible and I want to get an after market remote starter/alarm. I know my key is a laser cut key, but does the installer need an extra key to install the starter? Also, what make of remote starter would you recommend...is viper the best, is cheaper a waste of money?

Answer

Bypass kit
Yes ma'am he does need the extra key.
There are no keyless transponder bypass kits
that would do this car correctly.

A Universal kit with the spare coded key will be required.

Good luck with it.

P.S. Viper is a waste of money. There are better
choices out there. You are simply paying for the name with DEI.
