Hi, I have a 1997 toyota land cruiser. I got back from a trip and tried to start it and at first it seemed like the battery was dead because it didnt immediately start (it didn't try to start, the engine didn't rev at all). But it had been driven just a few days before with no battery problems. Then a few secomds later the alarm started going off and wouldn't stop for anything. This has happened before and it has to do with the locks and alarm system but i don't know what to do to make it stop and the car won't stop. I've tried jumping it, thinking the battery was dead but the alarm just keeps going off and the little red light on the left of the dash keeps blinking. I've tried locking it in the car, out of the car, manually and with the key and nothing is working and the alarm continues to go off. What can I do to make it stop?

OK but, it's not a factory system on your's though.
Try this:

Locate the little push button or switch under the dash area.
Then:

KEY IN AND IN THE ON POSITION JUST BEFOR CRANKING,
PRESS AND HOLD IN VALET SWITCH/BUTTON UNTIL YOU
GET A CHIRP FROM THE SIREN, AND MAYBE A FLASH OF THE LIGHTS.
KEY OFF.

This procedure would let you toggle into and out of
override on most alarms, your alarm too I think.
