Question
The theft system light stays on steady and I tried the normal procedure which is wait 10 minutes with the key in the ignition and the theft system light stays on steady. Then I tried it three times and still the same.  Now my car battery is dead, what can I do? Sorry I have 1998 pontiac grand am gt.

Alright, here are your options:

Ok, this vehicle's PASSLOCK 1 system is engaged
and will need to be circumvented/bypassed to get around
the GM fuel rail shut off circuit issue you are experiencing.

The first option is get the wiring
chart and relay application for
the car and passlock solution to get it
to start. But it's temporary at best.
Eventually it will fail and
you will need to do it again unless
you put in a self learning, variable bypass kit
(PLJX for the Impala.) to keep it from engaging
