Question
What cause my standard equipment alarm to go off spontaneously. i drive to work in the morning and park and lock the car with my remote and within 15-30 min the alarm goes off without anyone touching the car. what's causing that and how can it be remedied? many thanks, geoff
The "factory alarm" depends on battery drain to trigger.
This means either there is a source in the vehicle
that is spiking or running when the car is turned off.
I would also check the battery and recharging/alternator
system to be it's up to spec as well.
Let me know what you discover.
