Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 7/28/2009

Ok here it goes. I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana and one day my pass key got a little bent so the steering wheel would lock and it would be hard as hell to get the key to turn over, well sometimes it started with absolutely no problems. Saturday I parked my van on a residential street I always pull it up on the curb a little so the kids wont ride their bikes into it the steering locked again except this time I could never get it unlocked, I tried turning the wheel hard to each side while trying to start it, I even had men doing it figuring I wasn't strong enough to do it, still nothing. So we tried using a hydraulic jack to lift the car figuring that some of the pressure needed to be relieved from it and tried to unlock the steering that way, still nothing, my key won't budge and now its back straight. Please give me some kind of advice, I have 5 little kids that I have to get around so you can see how urgent this is. Thank you and GOD BLESS!

Sorry, but the kids will need to get another way around
for now ma'am. :>(

This truck's PASSKEY III system has engaged and GM will need to reset
it. There is no easy fix to this situation
that I am aware of. Again, sorry.

GM/Pontiac will need to evaluate and repair.
