Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 8/22/2009

Question
Since the last time I had my truck in for service the Sentry Alarm has had intermittent problems arming.  It passes the self check on start up without issue.  If you lock the doors using the auto door lock or the key fob you have a 50/50 chance of the system coming on.  The light flashes quickly and then goes out, if you then hit the key fob again it will flash rapidly and after a few seconds flash at a steady rate until being unlocked with the door fob.  Once it flashes quickly and goes out you can open the door (window rolled down just pulling manual lock back up) and nothing.  I have tried leaving each door open pushing the door lock and then shutting said open door, the system sometimes works sometimes doesn't.  If it is flashing steadily and you open the door you get horns and lights so I am not really sure where to go from here.  I asked the dealer and he tried to tell me it was normal.
