Auto Theft Prevention/Ignition disable key fob

Question
My 2005 Dodge truck came with an ignition disablement system that consists of a black and white key fob with no buttons. When you squeeze the white area of the fob, the ignition system is enabled. I've had the truck for 4 years (bought new from dealer) and I have to take the fob apart, and push down directly on the battery inside in order to get it to work. I'm afraid it will soon cease to work at all, so I went to the local Dodge dealer to see what to do. I was told that the system was not familiar to them and they could not help me. There is a Safeguard sticker on the driver and passenger windows. The original dealer gave me no paper work for the system. How do I find out what system it is and how to fix it?
Thanks for any help you can give...

Please go to my forum at www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com
