Question
Hi..I have a 98 Trans Am that just recently the driver headlight locked up on me...then a couple day later when I went to lock the car with either the remote or manually the lights come up and go down and the motor on the driver side starts a grinding sound, then it stops. The car locks but when you unlock it, it goes thru the same procedure. Also when I use the key to unlock the car my alarm goes off when the door opens...eeek. Before I order a motor for my headlight I think I should rule out my keyless entry as a problem

Help need this vehicle asap!!

Answer
No, the headlights are a seperate thing I think.
Get and install the new parts.

The alarm part should also be evaluated by
a reputable car alarm shop on it's own
to determine any problems there,
But the grinding is not an alarm thing.

Get them both lookied into.
