Question
The horn honks once when button is pressed and the system goes through the process but car does not start. Theft lock on dash flashes continuously. This is the "Ford" dealer installed remote starter.Do I need to take it in to have the Passlock system reprogrammed for the remote starter?

Answer
Yes you do. And in Fords, it's called PATS.

Call Ford for a resetting of the system, then talk to whom ever
installed the remote starter to re do the work.
Without the PKALL or PKFM-IM04 bypass kit, remote starting
would be exceedingly difficult, to impossible so
make sure you have the right bypasskit.
