Question
I have a 97 cavalier with a 2.4L twin cam! the motor blew so i replaced it with a 2.4L twin cam out of a 98 cavalier but the theft light stays and it will turn over perfect and strong but it wont start and im almost certain its not firing! can you help me with this problem
It's a Passlock 1 issue from the sounds of it.
Not sure a bypass is possible at this point though.
GM may need to reset/scync it for you.
If it is, it's would likely take relays, resistors, and bypass
module to get it to stay PASSLOCK free.
