I have a 2008 Ford Escape with a Scytek Astra 1000RS.  Last night I started the car remotely and when I got in the car and put the key in the ignition the car died.  I can not start the car remotely or manually.  When I turn the key in the ignition, nothing happens at all.  No radio, no dash lights, no starting...nothing.  The car is stuck in Park.  Brake lights work and all of the functions of the key work to lock/unlock car.  Dash lights up when unlocking car as normal.  I tried to disable the remote starter with the valet switch and nothing helps. None of the buttons on the remote starter's transmitter are responding at all but the LED on the transponder lights so I know the battery is not dead in the transponder.  Help!  Thanks in advance.

But the transponder is not programmed correctly or, this would
not be an issue now. Tow it to whomever installed it and
have it re programmed/reset.

You may also find at this point, even after you do that, that
the transponder is in long tamper mode, and will require
resetting by Ford, but at this point, hard to tell.

Try to redo the programming procedure, then if that fails,
call for to reset the PATS.
