Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 2/8/2010

This morning while trying to remotely start-up the car, the car beeped 4 times but did not cut on; instead the alarm continuously went off.  After attempting several times to start up the vehicle from the remote, I gave up.  When trying to start the vehicle on my own, I was unsuccessful.  The alarm continuously went off.  After pressing on the unlock button several times, I was able to stop the alarm from going off.  I then proceeded to insert my key into the ignition...everything came on with an exception of the engine... I could also hear a thumping noise, which sounded like the alarm trying to come on but it didn't.  At this point, my key actually locked into the ignition, the locks did not work; I had to secure the vehicle manually.  My question to you is how can I disable my alarm so that my vehicle can start?  I am driving a 2003 Trailblazer.

The PASSLOCK system is not allowing it and has locked you out in long
tamper mode.

The bypass kit you are using is obviously wrong here and needs
to be reprogrammed, repaired, or, replaced.

Tow it to the guy who installed it for service and
a re do on the PASSLOCK bypass module.
