Question
i have a 98 ford explorer,i had two keys one with a chip one without. i lost the one with the chip and the one without has always been able to fit in the ignition and will turn one time to power on my explorer but wont turn over and start. so my question is how or what do i need to bypass in my security to be able to use the key i still have without the security chip????

Answer
Can't. Need 2 transponder keys JUST to bypass the PATS.
Nope, no easy way here. You MUST have 2 programmed
transponder keys to do any bypass, so your fist
thing here is to have Ford do that. Once done,
you can do a permanent bypass with the PKFM bypass kit,
but not before.

Sorry about that.
